Chalmette Swimming Pool Services — Insured

Call (833) 997-8112 or send the form and we schedule a site visit in Chalmette, usually within a couple of days. You get a written, itemized free estimate with materials and scope spelled out — no verbal ballpark, no pressure, and no charge whether you hire us or not.

We also serve Arabi, LA and the rest of Greater New Orleans and the Northshore. Everything starts at the New Orleans Pool Builders homepage.

New Orleans Pool Builders covers the same range of work in Chalmette that we do in New Orleans — nothing is carved out because the address is a few miles up the road:

• Pool Heaters & Heat Pumps — Pool heater installation and repair in New Orleans covers gas heaters, electric heat pumps, and, unusually, pool chillers, because in this climate the problem is sometimes that the water is too warm rather than too cold. We size equipment from surface area, target temperature, and cover use rather than from a brochure, and we repair what you already own before recommending a replacement.
• Variable-Speed Pumps & Filtration — In New Orleans an equipment pad fails from the ground up, not from the motor down. We set variable-speed pumps and cartridge, DE, or sand filtration on pads built for a city that floods, settles, and loses power for days at a time.
• Saltwater Chlorination Systems — Saltwater pool conversion in New Orleans swaps the jugs of liquid chlorine in your garage for a cell on the equipment pad that produces chlorine continuously from dissolved salt. We install new systems, convert existing chlorine pools, replace and descale cells, and size the generator for our climate rather than for a catalog, which is exactly where most disappointing conversions go wrong.
• Leak Detection & Structural Repair — Pool leak detection in New Orleans finds exactly where your water is going using bucket tests, dye testing, individual line pressure testing, and electronic listening equipment, so we open one small section of deck rather than trenching the whole yard. In a city built on soft, settling ground, finding a leak quickly is not just about the water bill, it is about the ground underneath the pool.
• Green Pool Recovery & Acid Washing — Green pool recovery in New Orleans turns a swamp back into a swimming pool, usually without draining it and usually in two to four days. We assess whether yours is a treat-in-place job or a genuine drain and acid wash, tell you honestly which it is, and then do the unglamorous work: sustained shock, repeated filter cleans, and daily brushing until the water is clear.
• Hurricane Prep & Storm Damage Repair — Hurricane preparation and storm damage repair for pools in New Orleans covers the pre-season checklist, the days before a named storm, and everything afterwards: debris removal, electrical inspection, equipment replacement, water restoration, and insurance documentation. We give every customer the checklist whether they are on our service route or not, because the most expensive storm damage we see is entirely preventable.

Chalmette sits in St. Bernard Parish with a population of roughly 21,600, close enough to New Orleans that crews move between the two constantly. Local landmarks and corridors residents know well include the Chalmette Battlefield, Chalmette National Cemetery.

Local knowledge is not a marketing line here. Chalmette properties share soil, weather, permit rules and construction eras with the rest of St. Bernard Parish, and a pool contractor who works the area weekly already knows what fails locally and what holds up. That is the difference between a bid and an accurate bid.
